FROM BRITISH AIRWAYS BACK TO RECRUITMENT

Emma originally started her career in recruitment straight after university before taking a break to work for British Airways, where she had the opportunity to travel and meet people from all walks of life. Although she loved the experience, she realised she was naturally drawn towards relationship-building and people-focused careers, which eventually led her back into recruitment.

Since returning, Emma has specialised in engineering, technology and Defence recruitment and still genuinely enjoys the people side of the job most, building long-term relationships, helping candidates make exciting career moves, and supporting businesses with difficult hiring challenges.

OUTSIDE RECRUITMENT

Outside of work, Emma enjoys going on as many holidays as possible, running, spending time in Cornwall visiting her parents, and making the most of good food, sunshine, and time with friends and family.

She has also:

  • Completed three marathons

  • Raised more than £2,500 for charity

  • Completed her first skydive and is keen to do another

Fun fact: Emma has an incredible ability to remember song lyrics and will probably know every word long after everyone else has forgotten them.

Emma starts every day with a coffee with almond milk, quickly followed by a coconut water, although her drink of choice would always be a large ice-cold Pinot Gris.
